Piqua is an excellent place to have a business for multiple reasons: It is centrally located to most of the domestic US market; it is close to the Dayton International Airport (as well as 3 other important airports) for easy access to flights to anywhere; it is on Interstate 75 and very close to Interstate 70, for ease/speed of transport of incoming or outgoing goods; the community, government and local organizations are pro-business and offer excellent support; the City has good (and improving) local schools, a JVS and Edison Community College, to provide for a wide range of workforce development; much of the local workforce has excellent work ethics and good skills, with many with farm backgrounds; the City offers an excellent Quality of Living, with numerous amenities within Piqua, and with Dayton only 30-45 minutes away (less time than many large city-dwellers spend driving to the super-market); the cost of living is quite reasonable, with low cost for utilities; and the weather is usually reasonable.
